Highway In The Sky Traditional Cache

Hellawi: After reading geogirl12644's log I went up to check. Cache has definitely disappeared, I found parts of the log book ripped up and scattered in the grass at the side of the lay-by. By the time I got home m barlow had also logged a DNF.

Geocache Description:


The cache is situated in disused quarry workings just off the southbound carriageway of the A56 Accrington Easterly by-pass, which was opened in 1985, and nicknamed 'The Highway in the Sky'. If you park in the layby at: 53° 44.607 002° 19.691 you are approximately 100mtrs from the cache. Take care on the stile as it's very slippy when wet.
