morgs4mountains: Time for the cache to be archived. It's had a good run and I'm pleased that so many people have taken the time to visit it and the summit of my home county. Cheers everyone!!

This cache celebrates the fact that Foel Cwmcerwyn is the highest point in the wonderful county of Pembrokeshire.
Foel Cwmcerwyn, a hill of modest height, is also known as Preseli Top. It is the county top of Pembrokeshire. The hill is special to me, because as a child who was brought up in Pembrokeshire, a visit to the top meant an exciting day out!
Foel Cwmcerwyn is also known as a relative hill. This means that it has a drop on all sides of at least 150 metres, which by definition, indicates that it is a prominant peak.
Despite its elevation of only 537m above sea level, the hill can sometimes feel like a mountain. Please be properly prepared when walking to the summit as the temperature can be several degrees colder than lower down.
The views from the top are sublime (on a good day), and as well as viewing all of Pembrokeshire, you will sometimes be able to pick out Ireland and the mountains of Snowdonia. A crisp winter's day is best for these far reaching views.
Please enjoy your trip, and leave the cache site exactly as you found it in order to try and keep the cache from being muggled!
