Geocache Description:

The cache is easily accessible but finding it may be easier with a pair of wellies for most of the year!

Cuerden Valley Park is a well known and favourite location for walking, cycling and other activities. However, because it is split into a number of different sections by the intersecting roads the smaller areas are often neglected. These areas are still relatively well used by local people but, despite their own tranquility, are not the sort of place people would specifically set out to find.

This cache is very close to three seperate motorways (M6, M65, M61) and also in close proximity to a number other good caches. For this reason it may make a good stop-off point when on route up or down the country.
