This cache is about 1/4 mile from the actual Ghost Town of Carbon. The elevation is 6878 feet at the cache.
I got the idea for this cache from one of the Travel Bugs I left at the time the cache was set. There's a lot of history here. Take the time to read some of the tombstones. If you're really adventurous take a digital voice recorder and try to get a few EVPs. Just remember to respect these people. This is on both public and private land so respect the landowner also. There's more to see just around the bend.
The cache is a camo ammo box. It started out with several Rat Finks, some Travel Bugs and Coins, Pen and a log.
It may be very difficult to get to this cache in winter snow.
