Geocache Description:

Cache is a camo-taped rubbermaid container. Terrain is all well-marked trails, but there are some definite hills. Round trip (without exploring further) is about 1.5 miles. Finding this cache could be a challenge because of all the possible hiding places.

This cache is located on Heifer Hill which is the property of Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center (BEEC). BEEC is situated on 100 acres of classic Vermont. The property contains farm buildings, a classroom, trails, pasture, sugarbush, a hemlock stand, and a fabulous hilltop view. BEEC’s mission is to foster a greater awareness, understanding, and appreciation of our environment and to develop environmentally conscious citizens. BEEC has a well-marked trail system of about two miles open to public use. Come enjoy them! The nickname Heifer Hill comes from the many generations of heifers raised on the open pastures. Depending upon when you visit this cache, you may see some out there.

This cache was first put together on the weekend of the Heifer celebration in Brattleboro during the summer of 2007. The original contents are cow and dairy themed.
