High Park (Ontario,Canada) Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Cache-tech: Hello,
During a routine cache page audit, it was discovered that your cache apparently no longer
exists and/or your page has been disabled for an extended period of time. The disable feature is meant to be used only as a temporary measure to alert cachers to a potential problem that will soon be corrected..
As such we will be archiving your cache. If you wish to replace the cache at some point, just email me with the cache name, and waypoint ID and we will unarchive it for you.

Thanks.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

It is a green war surplus ammo can located in a tall tree no longer alive. Still standing tall, with many arms in the sky. To find the cache you must look to where a squirrel would reside.

TTC – Friendly.
We like to Geocache in different cities. So in an effort to make Geocaching more practical to the Toronto visitor, the start off points to our caches in the area may be reached by the TCC. This means there is a subway station somewhere near the start.

Subway:
Take the Bloor line subway and get off at the High Park station. Exit west end of station.

Car: Don’t park in the park! (really). Use Ellis Park road.

After Cache
Take a stroll towards the waypoint N38.494 W79.854. It is well worth the walk any time of the year.

Additional Hints (Encrypt)

Start your search from the N.W. edge of High Park. Pick up one of the small trails running North/South through the wooded area. The tree is 15 meters west off one of the small trails.
