Bear Cave/ Bunker Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: Hello,
I’m a volunteer reviewer for geocaching.com. In a routine check of area caches, I see that your cache has been missing for an extended period of time. The geocaching guidelines include a section on disabled caches: http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235

Cache owners can temporarily disable a listing, which will take a cache page offline for a short time. Do this if the cache needs repairs, or if the area is closed for a period of time (construction, hunting, winter closures, etc.) This is meant to be temporary, which means a few days, weeks or months.

A listing which is disabled for an extended period may be archived by a reviewer, unless there is some explanation on the listing. If you decide not to replace a missing cache, please archive the listing.

I’ve archived your listing to make way for new, active caches to be placed. If you would like to resubmit a new cache at the location, please feel free to do so and it will be reviewed according to the current geocaching guidelines.

Thank you for your contribution to geocaching,

Geocache Description:

This is a nice urban forest park(Invergarry Park)perfect for walking your dog or kids.

Hello Fellow Cachers,

When I was a young kid my brother and our friends called this the bunker. We spent ours summers attacking it with toy guns. When my three sons were younger they called it the bear cave. Its actually a big chunk of concrete covered in leaves and bush, but that's what imaginations are for. The cache consists of a sandwich size lock-n-lock camoflaged tan and black container. Inside is a Geocoin that started its journey in Quebec. There are also some funky magnets, a geostone, a log book and pencil.

The two best ways to enter the park are by Gladstone Drive (closest) or by the 116th Ave entrance(next to the Islamic Elementry School)which is a nice walk. There are Muggle joggers and dog walkers about.

This is our first attempt at hiding a cache so some feedback would be nice.
