Geocache Description:

Sadly, the host that housed this golden oldie geocacher is no longer viable. The container, since I hid the cache, was a modified pine cone with a cache either inside or attached. It kept going missing and I replaced it a few times over the years..and now the nearby pine trees in which I always hid it are no longer able to house such a container. I've been grappling with whether or not to archive it...I can't hide a new pine cone in the palm trees here, so keeping it alive won't be homogenous with the original intent  On the other hand, It's an oldie...hidden in November 2007...and while there ARE 6 other geocaches within about 20 miles to the north and to the south that could allow newer cachers to fill that hole in their caching calendar, this one is the only one within 20 miles. Additionally, it's the first cache I ever hid in my Microgamer series, so it has some sentimental value.

So I'm keeping this one going!  Different cache hide style, slightly different coordinates...but at least if you read the above you know what the original intent was!  The cache is now doubling as #12 in my Urban Fishing series. You will probably need a TOTT in order to reach the container...at least three different such TOTTs might work.

For this particular cache, you'll find parking across the street in one of the guest parking spots (not sure if they'd approve, though), or you can park down the block across SW 112 Avenue to the west along the street

Also, note that while each MicroGamer cache is a standalone cache, they also provide not one but TWO essential clues to Gamer's Quest 10, a puzzle cache hidden on April 17, 2008. The original physical clue is no longer here...instead, it's in the reference point waypoint on this cache page.
