You'll find this one creatively
stashed just off Bruce Trail. It's a nice div
ersion along your hike on
this amazing trail system or simply park nearby for the quick snag.
Either way, the scenic vista overlooking Dundurn St. and Hamilton
from GZ is pretty darned cool. If Brucing it, the 'trail' to the
cache will become apparent soon enough. If you must drive to the
cache, there are two possible approaches here, one seemingly easier
than the other.
Don't be so quick to take the
path of least resistance. We recommend leaving your geomobile at
the preferred parking coords. Although we didn't see any No Parking
signs closer to GZ,
it may not be too
appropriate and might bring too much unwanted attention to the
cache (unless you attempt the old 'flat tire' routine). That
approach is more easily accessible by foot or bike, but you
probably won't get the same appreciation for the 'trail' unless you
start from the parking trail head. And you wouldn't get to play
'King of the Mountain!'. You could even start your search at
the Highland Gardens cache, then continue on along the bruce and
consider ours the bonus cache.
Well, either way, each has it's own unique set of constraints. So
we'll leave that for you to choose, but ultimately you still have
the challenge of
f
inding
it once you get there. And watch out for muggles! Just let us
know which route you took and how you made out, find or not. I
have the help of a brand new cacher here (we've dubbed
Pianomann), who lives very close by and hikes the trail all
the time. He was in on setting this one up just after his very
first find nearby and will help us keep an eye on it. So, make
sure to write some descriptive logs about your adventure to
encourage him to find and place some more.
Thanks for the help Pianomann,
you're the king!
BTW - there's a steamy hot timmy inside for FTF!
