Named for the naturalist William Bartram, the Bartram trail covers a little over 100 miles from the NorthEast Ga mtns. to its terminus with the AT near Cheoah Bald in NC.
This multi-stage will highlight section #4 of this trail.
Section #4 travels from the trailhead at Wallace Branch (near Franklin NC) to the Wayah Bald. Use state road #1315 (Pressley Rd) to find the trailhead. The final stage will take you high onto the ridge with a splendid view of the Macon county valley. Please put in a good effort on the re-hide.. Thanks.. Have fun and enjoy the trail. MXCR
