In 1859, land was acquired in Springvale Township to build a mission church for the local farmers of Irish descent.
J.O'Riley donated the land, and St. Mary's Church was built.
The cemetery surrounds the church on three sides, with parking along the road.
Services are still held here in summer monthes.
The cache is not on nor near any markers. If a funeral is in progress, please return at a later time.
The container can be removed by keeping it vertical, and sliding it over and down. No need to force it!
