This should not be too difficult if you use the hint but don't use it if you don't want help because it makes it much easier. The hardest part will most likely be getting above the first watterfall. The hike to the waterfall is easy you just have to do some climbing and jumping to get to the cache. When you find the cache, please make sure the rope is tied.
This is a 1 mile hike from the trailhead in Temescal canyon to the waterfall. Once you get to the waterfall you must climb the rockwall next to the watterfall to get to the area behind the waterfall. This geocache involves involves a lot of climbing and jumping. Ge prepared to get dirty and, if your not carefull, a little wet. Once you get to the next waterfall (Click on the picture to see it). Climb up the rocks next to it and look around. This cash is a large tupperware. You probably do not want to look for this cache after it just rained because there will be too much water in the pools and streams and the rocks might be too slippery. If you come on the right day you may see some orange newts in the water. You should also be watching out for poison oak, ticks, and rattlesnakes. If you get to the cache you may want to keep walking up and you can find more pools and waterfalls.
Update 10/30/10 I have added a Garmin chirp to this cache. I placed the chirp nearby the cache but not actually in it. Your GPS should detect the chirp when you are near the cache. The chirp is called Temescal and contains the coordinates of the cache and a hint.
HAVING A GPS THAT CAN CONNECT TO A CHIRP IS NOT REQUIRED.
