What a great day for a walk in the park. Drehr Island State Park is now the home of our 8th cache. Again, named after a grandson. Karston lives in Oregon. He is six now and crazy for soccer. We only get to see him a few times a year and that is sad. The cache is located not too far off the path of a little used trail that runs between the roads that circle it. They call it the multi-use trail. It is only about 1/2 mile long and a very nice walk. The cache is a locking clear plastic box. Take heed of the park requirements for visiting. They are posted and you can also check out the great website for additional info.
