Geocache Description:

This Cache is located in a local dog walking park in Port Townsend.

Hey there, eh!! It’s your friendly neighbors from up north.

We enjoy coming to Port Townsend about once a year. It’s a beautiful drive; you get to see Deception Pass and the last highlight of the trip for the kids are the bunkers @ Fort Worden. The last time we were in Port Townsend we were still muggles.
So one day we were chatting and decided it would be a great idea to place a cache in Port Townsend. This would be a great reason to make more than one trip per year.
Now we had to come up with a theme for our cache. You would think this would be easy. Well maybe for some it is, but not me. So my wife and I asked the kids when they got home from school one day what the theme should be. They both asked the same question almost at the same time “Where are we going to put it?” and I responded back to them “in Port Townsend @ the tunnels.” Now just to let you know our kids are 10 & 8. They both said again at the same time “NO BRAINER……CANADA!” My wife and I looked at each other and feeling a little bit embarrassed that it was that easy.
We love our country and everything it stands for! We would like to try a keep a theme of Country realated trade items. if you can't keep the theme no sweat there are trade items that are not country related. Enjoy the view and watch the little ones! HAPPY HUNTING!!
Our cache has Canadian Contents which include:
1. First To Find (FTF) Prize
2. A bootleg CD of Canadian Artists.
3. Inflatable Canadian Bat.
4. A muggle Stone.
5. 2 packs of Canada Stickers.
6. A Canadian wrist band.
7. Mini Canadian Playing Cards.
8. 2 fridge magnets.
9. 2 flashing magnets.
10. A Canadian pen.
11. Last but not least “Buckaneer Bud” the Canadian Geocoin.

So we hope you enjoy this cache as much as we enjoyed making it, the road trip to Port Townsend to hide it and the time we got spend with our friends during the road trip. Happy Hunting.
