In September, a secret group of geofemmes gathered to plan a secret meeting, to plan monthly secret dinners, to be held to discuss feminine issues in Geocaching.
Since women adore gathering en masse and dining, we decided that we needed a monthly Meet & Eat. And, since women adore gathering en masse and complaining about the opposite gender, we decided that we needed a place to gather where the opposite sex can’t hear us divulging our girlie caching techniques.
Word was passed around and in September, 2007 we met at Don Pablos on the northside of Indy for our first unofficial GIG Meet & Eat. It was deemed a huge success, so in October Jenischmeni planned the Meet & Eat on the southside, Indigo500 planned one for November on the westside of Indy and they were both a blast. So, for December….we’re going to head BACK to the northside amongst all the Christmas hustle and bustle and have us a Christmas shindig.
MCL will be making room for us to gather on Monday, December 10th, at 6PM. The address for MCL is Merchant's Square, 1390 Keystone Way Drive East, Carmel, IN 46032 and their phone number is 317-844-9217. It is easily accessible from 465 by exiting at Keystone Ave./431 and continuing NORTH, just past 116th street.
We will be playing a round of Dirty Polly….so find that something in your house that you no longer have use for, (but isn’t too worn), wrap it, and bring it along. You only need to bring a wrapped USED present to play. Instructions will be revealed at the Event.
Since MCL is a banquet room, we will be able to move around…so plan to move around the room and visit with someone that you haven’t spent much time talking with. I’m also hoping that we will have a little extra time to find a few caches, since we won’t have to wait on our food.
