Event: Winter Solstice Celebration
Location: Log Cabin and fire pit at the above coordinates Date: 12/21/07
Time: 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Congratulations to LBK for the FTF. Thanks to everyone who attended.
Please gather with us on Solstice for an evening of fun, food, family and friends. There will be a campfire for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Hot dogs (and fixings), and marshmallows will be provided. Please bring a roasting stick and and your beverage of choice.
Of course, there will be a cache or two or three or four available. (Caches will be released the morning after the event for logging.) In fact, there will be a competition of sorts. Starting promptly at 7p.m., interested cachers will be broken up into teams and turned loose on the park. The first team to find all four caches WINS...a prize!
Coordinates will be released the night of the event, so come prepared to play (i.e. headlamps, flashlights, warm clothing). There is also a great sledding hill in the area, but as of now there is not enough snow for sledding.
