Coombe Valley Park
I have just acquired an allotment (my shed is just above the 5-bar gate at the parking) so a little exploration nearby led me to this lovely park, which I didnt know existed. The valley is lined with houses each side, but you would hardly know they were there, and this is a little area of tranquility, with views up to Haldon. You could park elsewhere, but you may have difficulty finding a path to the cache which is in the open area at the top of the park. Popular with dog walkers. Small cliplock box containing a good stock of goodies.
