I adopted this cache when the original owner shared he was not up to its maintenance any more. The cache itself is not located in a highly visited area, but it will help you get to one of the most astonishing places on the planet. As always,be aware of muggles. Once you get here, you will understand why the area is so pristine and seldom travelled. The roads are known for their deep sand and need for high clearance. There are adventure businesses who will drive you in their vehicles, if you choose. There are cattle gates to open and close on the way. Please make sure to open and close them going in and going out.
Download this cache and the Earthcaches nearby for offline use well before your arrival. There is no cell service. Similarly, if using your own vehicle, have contingency plans, a good spare, and a full tank of gas before leaving your last gas station. There are Good Samaritan’s that may help, but a lot of time may pass before anyone else passes your way.
