Geocache Description:

Climb 1100 feet to absolutely awesome views when the air is clear.

The Mendenhall Ridge Road is a popular hiking and mountain biking route, but I doubt you'll get the bike up to this one. Depending on your approach, it could be one mile or five miles or more from where you start, with terrain ranging from 3 to 4.5. No matter where you do begin, when you get up here the views can be stunning if the air is clear, with vistas ranging from Fire Camp #9 west of Bear Divide to Mendenhall, Condor and Strawberry Peaks behind you, as well as a great twilight view south to the Valley. You can also hear interesting sounds from the Wildlife Way Station and the Los Angeles shooting ranges.

Cache is a small poly jar with a few items and logbook.

Enjoy the views, but please take adequate precautions.

Display Adventure Pass when parking.
