Geocache Description:

Just upstream from the tavertine cascaids. Image

Sightings and rumors of a Lost George persist. However scat never lies. George has gone Feral. It has been sighted in the remote areas of the Water Mellon Mountains and been glimpsed wallowing in the travertine cascades. It’s nest has been found under picnic tables at Cole Springs. In junk science circumstantial evidence reinforced with hearsay equal the truth. Now the famed Scatologist “Gary” has collected irrefutable evidence of a bipedal urban hominid gone feral. Droppings containing sunflower seeds, M&Ms and candy bar wrappers have been found near picnic areas. Apparently it feeds on food items left in geocaches. Feral 1: of, relating to, or suggestive of a wild beast 2 a: not domesticated or cultivated : WILD b: having escaped from domestication and become wild: synonyms see brutal -Websters A geocache has been placed in the area with a Twinkie as bait.
