Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in the middle of downtown Portsmouth, NH near one of the Portsmouth Harbor Trail stops.

The cache is a a 2"x2" plastic tupperware container, spray painted flat camouflage black to help blend in and with two strong neodymium magnets on the bottom. Cache originally contained a logbook, several seashells and pieces of sea glass. There is not enough room for a writing utensil, so bring your own.

This is an urban cache. There will definitely be muggles as you are right in downtown Portsmouth. There will be lots of muggles in the summer and almost none in the winter. You should be able to find the cache without too too much stealth, however, just be careful not to alert any muggles to the cache's location. The cache can be found just as well at nighttime, but it will be a little bit harder because the flat black camouflage paint will blend in with the darkness better. As an added bonus at night, you will be rewarded with an excellent view of the North Church lit up against the darkness. The cache is accessible to someone in a wheelchair, although they will need an able bodied person to actually grab the cache from its location.

The cache is rated a 4 in difficulty for a reason, but you'll have a blast finding something that 99% of passers-by will miss!
