Geocache Description:

Rat Snake: The Rat Snake is active during the day in Spring and Fall but becomes nocturnal in Summer. A skillful climber, it ascends trees in search of birds, eggs and mice. It also eats other small mammals and lizards.

This series of caches have been placed along the Hog Valley Trail in the Ocala National Forest. A nice map is available here.

This trail is a tight "Multi Use" trail and is a slightly tight Jeep trail. You may encounter soft sand and some mud depending on weather. 4X4 was not required when the caches were placed but could be requried at times. Most of the caches are Ammo cans but two are Decon Containers and one is a PVC hanger. This can be determined by the size of the cache indicated above.
