Mount Saint Francis
Friary and Retreat Center
Conventual Franciscan Friars
Established 1896
Located in the beautiful scenic hills of Southern Indiana (near Louisville, Kentucky) Mount Saint Francis is a multi-purpose complex owned and administered by the Province of Our Lady of Consolation of the Conventual Franciscan Friars.
Following in the tradition of their founder, St. Francis of Assisi, the friars maintain "The Mount" as a residence and a sacred place of welcome. A primary ministry is the Retreat Center, which provides opportunities for spiritual renewal to all peoples. Situated on more than 400 wooded acres, it is an ideal setting for a private retreat, day of reflection, group meetings, school retreats, a team building day on the ropes course... or just a walk on the grounds.
