Have you noticed the Southern Border of Arizona, and how just west of Nogales, the line switches from east west to a north west direction. An Elbow of sorts. When you find this Cache, on a hill with a fantastic view, the Elbow will be aproximatly 1/4 mile south. It is a large concrete marker on the side of the hill
From I-19 take #289 towards Pena Blanca Lake. Turn left on FR 222. This is a good road, but towards the end it gets a little rough in places. Average Pickup should make it. I took a 4x4 for some of those rough areas. The road follows a mountain ridge right to an overlook of the Arizona Elbow. Road ends, blocked by baracade of Railroad ties. Final 1/2 mile has to be on foot. Border Patrol warns there are Smuggling activity in the area due to the proximity to the border. So, be aware of your surroundings at all times. I would not go at night.
