Geocache Description:

A scenic hike along North Landing River.

This cache aims to provide an incentive to hide caches other than the ubiquitous shopping mall micros. For this purpose we prepared numerous small, camouflaged cache containers and put them in a large ammo can in the woods. If you like to support our effort to put out more hiking caches then take one of the pre-made containers and hide it at a location in Hampton Roads that requires at least a 200 meter hike. You may also leave caching supplies, such as other small containers, log books, re-sealable bags, etc. No swag please! New caches spawned from the Cache Factory will be recognized with a hyperlink from this page. Please note in your log whether you took a container. We retain ownership of the containers until you publish the cache.

To get to the cache we suggest you park on a nearby neighborhood street, walk along Elbow Road and then along the westerly bank of North Landing River. It is recommended wearing good boots because the ground might be soggy in places.
