This cache is Heatherwood Park near the Ephrata Rail Trail Linear Park.
The Ephrata Rail Trail Linear Park stretches for more than half a mile, from East Fulton Street south to the borough line. The paved, 12-foot wide walkway passes behind quiet neighborhoods and through woodlands, coursing beneath a canopy of tree branches. Much of the trail is lined on two sides by wooden guiderails, and there are trash receptacles at various points on the trail. Parking and benches are available at Fulton street and Queen street. The park is open from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Heatherwood Park is a little known tract of land east of the rail trail. To find the cache, leave the paved rail trail and enter the trail in Heatherwood Park at N 40 10.319 W 76 11.376. This trail can be slippery in wet conditions. The cache is an altoids size tin about 30 feet from the trail.
While the park is open until 11:00 pm. It is not advisable to attempt this cache in the dark.
