"HMQS Gayundah" was towed to her grave at Woody Point in 1958 to help with erosion control and is certainly worth a gander.
NB Unfortunately this site is also popular for muggles. The container has been moved and replaced several times. Most recent new cache and move was on 13 Oct 2016. You are looking for a nano.
Woody Point, on the Redcliffe peninsula, has many walking/cycling paths and picnic areas offering picturesque views of Moreton Bay and Bramble Bay.
The wreck of "Gayundah" is just beyond the end of a recently upgraded path, near a pleasant barbecue and picnic spot (where car parking is available) and is accessible by foot or bike and is pram friendly.
