Geocache Description:

After the success of my Come On Everton Cache I thought I’d place one for the red half of the city.

Anfield is the home of Liverpool F.C, one of the most successful teams in England. They have been league champions a record 18 times, won the F.A. Cup 7 times, the League cup a record 7 times and have been European Champions 5 times (only bettered by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich).

The club are now planning to move from Anfield to a new stadium in Stanley Park, increasing its capacity significantly from the current limit of just over 45,000. Before the move it’s well worth a walk around the outside this famous stadium to see the various locations including The Paisley Gates, The Shankley Gates and the Hillsborough Memorial

The cache is a magnetic micro and should be an easy find, although stealth will almost certainly be required. If you find it whilst on a trip to watch a game, please include the opposition and score in your log.
