Trivial Pursuit Series - Orange-Sports & Leisure Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CDS231: Time to make room in this park for some new caches. This series had a good five plus years run with many people willing to complete all six in the series rewarding them with a "bonus" final.

Thanks to Major134 for your assistance in picking up the containers.

Geocache Description:

Trivial Pursuit Series - Orange-Sports & Leisure

Trivia season is upon us so I thought this would be a good time to throw one out to the St. Louis community. You may or may not know the answer at the cache location. If not I am sure you and the internet will be able to come up with the correct answer. If you have any questions or need assistance please email me and I will be happy to assist you.

This is one cache of a seven part series. Cache numbers 1-6 will provide the clues that will lead you to the "hub" or final cache. Each placement will be a cache that you can log as a find so you can complete the series, or just complete what you want to. The caches in this series do not need to be completed in numerical order to come up with the final coordinates. The caches are placed in several south St. Louis County parks.

Here are your categories taken from an old "Genius" edition. where all the questions came from. There will be one question per cache with six possible answers.  If you are uncertain of the answer or want to verify it when you get home then you will need to write the Q and A down. The seventh cache will have a link for you to check your results on geochecker.com when you have completed the first six. Anyone logging a find for the "hub" or final cache that have not logged the first six will have their log removed.

Good luck and happy hunting, or should I say answering.

NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy

Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches.
