The cache is located within a little park area that is fairly new to the area (about 2-3 years now). Great place for little cachers to have fun, romp around, and see some ducks at play. Great during Spring/Summer/Fall... a little chilly in Winter, but still fun! The area is wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately, the cache is not.
PARK CLOSES AT DUSK!
The cache is in honor of the fact that we make the trip from North Central WA to this town at least once per month to visit g-ma and g-pa. We wanted this to be our first ever placed cache. G-ma and g-pa have lived just down the street for over 30 years and have watched this area grow and develop. Mrs. Pridelands and her siblings all grew up here. This city was once a lot of open farmland and scattered houses. Now it seems that there is a new housing development going up every year!
Enjoy the hunt! FTF prize is a new geocaching LED flashlight (batteries included) engraved with cache info. Also included are a variety of new toys for the geokids, and The Black Knight TB (wants to head East).
