Beaver Tales Traditional Cache
Mayan Duo: We are archiving this cache because the original hiding spot is gone since the tree cracked and fell during the spring flood. Also, the nearby Beaver hut was destroyed by the flood so there will be no more beaver tales to tell from here. Thanks to all who came to visit and Happy caching!

Cache is a small screw-top container containing a logbook, pencil, sharpener, a FTF gift and a few small trading items. Lots of burrs in the area so be aware if you have a dog with you.
You may want to take a camera with you, as the cache is located next to a beaver hut. While we were setting up the cache, a beaver was swimming around under the ice and would break through now and then to keep an eye on us. There was a muskrat there as well. It was quite interesting to watch them swimming under the clear thin ice. Please no not disturb them. Just sit back and enjoy! Please post any pictures you may take here.
This is a great hike for kids but be careful at the cache site as it is very near the river.
