Another pretty area in the Ouachita National Forest!
This cache is located in the Ouachita National Forest, very close to the "A Mother's Tears" and "Brown Creek Shelter" caches. When visiting the Brown Creek Shelter yesterday, we were so inspired with the area, we came back today in the rain to hike in to the cascade that Tim Ernst mentions in his waterfall book. It is really a nice area.
Terrain rating is mainly due to the last 25 or so feet. The hike is easy, maybe a 1/4 mile one way, nice road trace to walk. You will cross one chunk of the creek and in wet weather, might get your feet wet. There are rocks to walk on.
Cache is hidden in a very obvious spot. Parking is available at a camp site right on the forest road.
Current swag is good stuff - enjoy!
