Geocache Description:

Altitude is approximately 8000ft. Very steep rocky climb. A good workout.

This is the first Cache I have placed. It is not to far from the road but can be a dangerous climb. The container is a round Ziploc twist top 2 cup container. The initial inventory is 1 notebook for logging entries, 2 small pencils, 1 Geocache notification note, and 1 Army unit crest pin for 502nd Personnel Battalion. This was my first unit at Ft Carson and deactivated the summer of 2007. The container is wrapped in Brown Duct Tape and is hidden behind a rock. Best place to park is by the Pike Nation Forest sign on Old Stage Rd. Have fun and be Careful.
