Obligatory Cache? Oh Well… Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ohjoy!: I stopped by last night on a maintenance run and discovered that the only way to this cache at this point is through private property due to the overgrowth of blackberries. The alternate entrance is now blocked by construction.

The construction came within inches of the cache, but I was able to retrieve it. I'll use it elsewhere some day.

Oh Well...it had a good run.

Geocache Description:

While visiting, I got the impression that whenever someone, well, finds a lot of caches on the island, they are obligated to leave behind one of their own to honor the locals who have already blanketed the place so well with their own caches.

Now that’s a lot of pressure. Well, I don’t know the parks, forests and preserves around here well enough to leave one there, but I did find a spot well under 200’ from parking. Standard PNW hide. Nothing exciting. A well-used container I had in the trunk with whatever I could pull together from the innards of my car. Oh, well…

Well, I’ll leave well enough alone.
