This is a themed cache - ball caps only. This cache started with 8 new ball caps after the original Farmers Cap Cache washed away. This cache will not meet the same demise!
All the while growing up in this area, I never knew dad to buy a cap & he always had plenty to spare. The surplus of caps at our house came from feed, seed, chemical & implement dealerships as well as parts warehouses, repair shops, financial institutions... Dad was picky with his caps, too. Of course you never sat down for a meal or entered a house with one on but he had a goin' to town one for the winter & one for the summer as well as work ones for the winter & summer. The breeze & sun in the summer also determined if he would wear one that was mesh all of the way around or just partially. And to think he complained when one of the girls would go back and change clothes! Enjoy the cache & your dad's little quirks.
