Geocache Description:

This is a multi-stage puzzle cache.
Coordinates are for parking only. You must first decypher the code and then collect 4 pieces of a map to find the final location.

For many years these lands have been plagued by the evil privations and destructions of a Dragon. A creature thought to be long dead and banished to the age of mythology and late night stories. The Dragon was first placed to guard the treasures of a fair maiden, but as it grew its temperament changed for the worse and none could near it. Many tried to destroy the fearsome creature, but, it was cunning and eluded all attempts to drive it away.

Nearly a score of men, including the Lord of the land, had all come to do battle with the fiery beast. All were either killed or routed into fearful madness. Those who survived the encounter swore that the devil himself walked the earth.

Over the years the Dragon’s attacks became less frequent and, for the most part, it prowled the hinterlands feeding on cattle and lesser livestock. In time it became both a legend and a boogeyman to the locals. Offerings to placate the beast were given and in return the Dragon was content to spare the community.

From time to time, Knights of lesser rank, seeking fame and fortune, would flock to the area. Working alone or in small groups they would hunt for the Dragon to bring him to bay. Of all the attempts by these intrepid adventurers only a few succeeded in finding the Dragon’s lair. While none of them lived to tell the tale, they did manage to leave hints and clues for those brave enough to follow.

First you will want to decipher the message below which was found on the land that the Dragon protects. Then, with the above listed coordinates you will find a convenient location to rest your metal steed while you hunt the beast.

You will travel to 4 different territories. At each location you will find a piece of a map and coordinates to the next location. Coordinates are not given for the final location. The Dragon’s den may only be located by correctly placing the 4 pieces of the map together.

Park curfew is 11:00pm. All pets must be on leash.

This cache was placed with the permission of the Tulsa Parks Department.

I have worked closely with the horticulturalists of Woodward Park in the placement of this cache. Always use care when searching for caches. You will not have to walk in the landscaping to find any of the caches. This park requires super stealth skills in all areas. So be prepared to look like you are collecting data or some such feat.

Congratulations to Wichers for FTF
