Fellow members of the Saturday Morning Caching Club (aka GeoMob, Travelling Riot, etc, etc), and those who would like to join us, but have so far displayed more common sense and slept in instead…, you are cordially invited to our Annual General Meeting, to be held at 1200 hrs on Saturday Dec 29th at the above mentioned co-ordinates.
The AGM will follow the regular meeting of the SMCC, which will have it’s own agenda, as yet to be determined. Members and non-members alike are invited to join in on the regular Saturday morning frivolities. All you need is your own GPS, and a little swag, although those who display, or wish to display, a lack of maturity will probably find the morning more tolerable whilst in the company of the GeoMob. And rest assured, bunny ears will be supplied as required. Well actually, they’ll show up in the photos whenever your fellow SMCC members get the opportunity, that is. (If interested, Bluelamb03 is very good about putting our agenda, usually including our choice of restaurant for breakfast, on the CCC website, www.ottawageocaching.com, Forums, under Geo – Mob)
So! Feel free to join us after a morning’s caching or after sleeping in. (When you reply please mention how many will be attending.) Agenda for the meeting follows:
1. 1145 (or so…) gather at the appointed location.. This is a kids friendly location. (If uncertain, you can always try Liam Maguires. You can check out their menu at www.liammaguires.com/menu.html);
2. 1200 (or so…) For any other group, the meeting would be called to order. Any such attempt would be complete waste of time and effort with the likes of the Travelling Riot, so we’ll just carry on!;
3.1201 to ? Eating, enjoying a beverage or 2, discussing old finds (Old Business), looking forward to next years caching (New Business), and trading/discovering coins (about as close to a Treasurer’s Report as we’re likely to get…) and
4. 1330, give or take, adjournment. Have a Happy, and Healthy New Year!
