This cache is located in a small neighborhood park in Des Plaines.
Cornell Park is one of those rare places that are quite boring in summer, but a lot of fun in winter - when the Park District turns the northern end of the park into an ice rink.
The park has not much to offer besides a place to walk the dog or play catch during the summer, but is teeming with life in the winter, when it's cold enough to go ice skating.
So, come on over in the winter, and have some fun!
I had originally planned to put a bigger cache in this park, with a winter theme, but due to the recent and upcoming tree cutting there aren't that many good hidey holes left that don't involve trampling on the plants.
So, I apologize to my son, 3-year-old SillyMoose, for doing the unthinkable and hiding a "cache without treasure" in our neighborhood - sorry, Buddy!

Not sure about the terrain rating - it could be a 1 if a flat grass surface is considered wheelchair accessible.
