Geocache Description:

This is small cache near the grave site of Samuel P. Taylor and his wife Sarah.

As sdarken, Kenneray and I were coming down the Barnabe Fire Road after finding Mountaintops of Marin #4, we saw a white picket fence enclosure at the base of the hill that we decided to investigate. What we found was the grave site of Samuel P. Taylor and his wife Sarah. We had lunch at a bench nearby and enjoyed learning about this couple who lived in the area over a century ago.

I have included a web link for you to learn more about the park and the people who now rest here. http://www.parks.ca.gov/pages/469/files/SPTPDF2.pdf.
Brewmonkey also left an interesting link regarding the grave sites and their history. http://www.rootsweb.com/~cemetery/california/Notes/taylor-samuel-p.htm.
You can get here by taking a short hike up Devil's Gulch Trail and then crossing over the bridge to the Gravesite Fire Road.
