A confluence is defined as a flowing together; a meeting place (often of rivers).
In our case a degree confluence is the exact spot where an integer degree of latitude and an integer degree of longitude meet, such as 61°00'00"N 149°00'00"W.
Although this isn't right at a true confluence it is such a good location for a cache I couldn't pass it up.
The cache is located at a trailhead and you can drive within feet of the cache so it should be an easy one.
Enjoy the cache and maybe even hike up the trail and find a couple other caches along the way.
I want to thank Oleruns for helping put this cache out. I wasn't prepaired to place one and he had a cache container we were able to use.
