My father
lived here in La Mesa, NM the last 15 years of his life up until
he passed away July 19 of 2006. Whenever we would be passing
through the area this is the truck stop we would park at and he
would come to meet us, and pick us up and get us out of the
truck for a while and visit. It was always nice to see him pull
up excited to see us. Sometimes we would just go out to
dinner and a movie, or if we had more time we would go out on a
cache run. How I wish we could make the connection again. I miss
those visits.
We placed a
few more caches in the area, if you have the time and have not
found
GCX5ZM Darth Vado, it is an easy cache not far from here at
all. Also my Dad's Memorial Cache,
GCXA90 is at the NM welcome center not too far from here.
You are looking for a bison tube nicely tucked away. Bring your
own pen/pencil. There is no need to disassemble anything, so please
don't. Also please put the container back just as you found it so
that it's there for the next person to find. Thanks Happy
Caching!!
