Start from the Manor Farm Pub (Rainhill)
You can park at the pub car park, car sat nav just punch in this post code and will take you straight there L35 6NE. Then once parked come back out the car park walk to your left a few yards you will see a footpath sign (see pic entrance) and off you go.
before the first bridge (see pic bridge) there is a hidden cache that has been hidden by cachers Bonnie and Clyde this in fact was my very first find (thank you b+c)if you have not done already you might has well bag this one as well. (GC10DF9.
good hunting.. the cache is a 35mm film cannister that is inside a clear plastic case, there is enough room for a travel bug or coin. the log is inside film cannister (rolled up piece of paper)no pen or pencil im afraid.
when found you can go and walk to pex hill if you want. from my cache the co-ords are.

see pic pex hill this is the entrance.. just follow footpath will take you straight there. (keep on eye on kids or dogs)
because there are some high drops, it is fenced off but best to be on safe side.
hidden there is another cache hidden by b+c GCNA5F again if not done so bag this as well. nice walk all in all.
this is not a dash and cache, boots wellies etc are needed as it can be very muddy.
now i do know that i do not have to remind you but there is water near the cache so if you bring kids be careful and the first bridge crosses a busy motorway (common sense and all that if you have kids or dogs).
