Geocache Description:

Jared123 made a wish: to come to the Pacific Northwest from South Dakota, meet some local cachers, and see what we have to offer in our caching zone. Let's welcome him and his family with a lunchtime picnic at this waterfront location in Bremerton not far from the ferry terminal.

Mark your calendars for Sunday June 23 - you will want to make sure and attend this one. Please log your Will Attend as early as you can and list how many are coming so that we can plan accordingly. We have a covered pavilion so this event is on rain or shine.

"Wishes make life better for kids with life-threatening medical conditions. This simple, but powerful belief drives Make-A-Wish."

Jared and his family are traveling with support from Make-A-Wish.

WHEN: 11 am to 1 pm.

FOOD: Thanks to many wonderful, local Kitsap area businesses we will have plenty of food for all to enjoy! We will have pizza, Subway and other sandwiches, Mexican food, coffee plus lots of other drinks - including lots of deserts - so bring a empty stomach. If you have specific dietary needs, please be sure to bring what you need to have for yourself. Again, please log your Will Attend as early as you can and list how many are coming so that we can plan accordingly.

BRING: Any Trackables that need to get a boost towards South Dakota.

AFTERWARDS: A small group of people are planning to go and find some of goblindust's caches once the event wraps up. Jared would like to experience some of the creativity of this area. He can perhaps learn how to hide one or two similarly-creative caches back home. You are welcome to join us -- as long as you don't spoil the hunt for anyone -- or continue on your own itinerary.
