Khappinghat National Park is approximately 10-15 km East of Taree, on NSW’s Mid-North coast (320 km N of Sydney).
On the Old Bar Road there is plenty of scope for placing geocaches; but this spot was begging for a whiz-bang name.
This cache is placed on the boundary of a bushwalking and mountain bike riding area, with a park area of 3514ha located between Purfleet and Saltwater (courtesy aaatourism.com.au).
(When this was a Multi-cache the first Waypoint, WP1, used to lead you to the ‘reason’ for the name of the cache. There used to be two phone numbers at #757 for "Manning Magic Kids Kan Dance" until quite recently at: S31° 57.839’ E152° 32.870’: but not any more. And the rest is history)
