hawkeye81: Thanks to everyone who has visited this cache. Unfortunatly this keeps getting muggled, so I've decided not to replace it this time - sorry to those who attempted but didn't find it.

Geocache Description:

A tour around Whitstable, answering questions to obtain the coordinates for the final cache, placed near a view across the town and out to sea.

Hidden History #3

Around Whitstable

P The published coordinates for this cache are for a large pay & display car park (TR 109 669).
~ The tour is all on surfaced footpaths, although does include some steps in places.  The paths to the cache itself may be muddy during the winter or after heavy rain.
! The description for this cache is quite long - if you are paperless caching please ensure your device is holding all the additional waypoint descriptions (thanks to Henly for pointing this out).

There's plenty of 'history' hidden around Whitstable, this cache will take you on a tour around the town to visit a few of the sites.  Answering the questions along the way will provide you the coordinates for the final cache location.

Some background information for this cache was taken from the Simply Whitstable and See Whitstable websites.

To reduce the chances of the cache being muggled (and so you don't need to feel so guilty poking around in the bushes!), the actual location is about 1.5km (1 mile) as the crow flies from the published coordinates.  Coordinates of the actual cache are:

N 51° DJ . (A+G)(H+K-M)F    E 01° JB . CEL

From near to this location you have views across the town and out to sea (see picture from link below).  There are two waypoints below from where you can make your way to the cache, one with less of a slope to walk up/down than the other.  It would not be unreasonable to walk from the published coordinates, but it is a fair distance - there should be plenty of parking close by to either of the two waypoints.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

The cache is a clip-lock style box with room for coins and small TBs.  Please beware of muggles and ensure the cache is well covered & hidden when replacing.
