Cache located in a path that connects
“Platanakia” with Chortiatis village and in his bigger part you
move on a stone water canal, that it is part of Thessaloniki’s
old aqueduct, that was manufactured in 1916-17 from French Army
of East, Service of Waters (Armie Francaise d Orient, Service
des Eaux) and remains in very good condition.
It is a very beautiful path, unknown in a lot of
people.
You can park your car at coordinates (N 40 35.727 E 023
03.181). A few meters below (N 40 35.758 E 023 03.172) begins the
path.
In the beginning, the path climbs steeply for 10 minutes
until you meet the stone water canal.
Turn right following continuity the stone water canal and the
orange marks, until you easy reach in about a half an hour a
tunnel, a waterfall and the cache!!!
Be very careful
to the final approach to the cache, because requires about 3 meters
climb on the rocks.
For this reason I put the rate 3,5.
The cache is a tupperware wrapped in a plastic
ziplog bag. It contains a logbook, a declaration En+Gr, a pencil
(bring your own just in case) and some trades.
Please rehide the cache carefully.
I wish you good and pleasent geocaching.
