Een wandeling van zo'n 500 meter naar de verstopplaats. Deze bevindt zich in het relatief onbekende Bijlokebos te Wachtebeke.
In de loop van 2007 kocht Natuurpunt Moervaart-Zuidlede het drie hectare grote Bijlokebos, gelegen te Wachtebeke. Het Bijlokebos is een dennenbos met een jonge ondergroei van vooral zomereik, lijsterbes, vlier, spork en berk. Dit mooi stukje bos is heel wat minder bekend dan het nabijgelegen Heidebos. (English below) Parkeren kan men op WP 51°11.077 N 003°53.344 E Volg daarna het wandel-(en mountainbike-) pad doorheen het bos, gemarkeerd met het teken van ‘Natuurpunt’. De bomen met het groene merkteken en de oranje pijl tonen je de juiste weg. Daarna een kort stukje het bos in, naast de weide. Een paar laarzen is geen luxe, vrij modderig. Honden aan de leiband. Parking place at WP 51°11.077 N 003°53.344 E Follow the walk (and mountain bike-) path through the wood, marked with the sign of ‘Natuurpunt’. The trees with the green spot and the orange arrow show the right way. Thereafter it’s only a short way to go into the wood, a side the meadow. A pair of boots are no luxury. Dogs on the leach.
