Geocache Description:

This is a typical drive up and grab.

Our 5th grade G.A.P. class has created this cache. It all started when I told my students about a trip to a cache when everything went wrong. They were intrigued. So we decided to put this easy cache out to see how many people would stop by. So if you are in the Yuma area add this one to your to do list. The cache is a gum tin. Inside the kids have added simple trade items erasers, crafts, & even their classroom money.

Update: Thank you to all of our visitors! The kids have enjoyed reading your logs and seeing the variety of people. We hope to add some more class caches soon. Some people have asked what does G.A.P. mean? G.A.P. is The Gowan Achievement Program at Rancho Viejo. Through a generous donation from the Gowan Company our small group of students are able to take out of town field trips, work on laptop computers, have special guest speakers and much more to enhance their education. This is truely a unique program for the Yuma area.
