Are you ready for a little Squeeze??
Splashman, Team Fatman, and Skillet have been thinking about doing this run, so here we go!
What: A Jeep or 4x4 run
Where: Anza Borrego State Park, Pinon Mtn./Canyon Road
including The Squeeze and Heart Attack Hill, down
into Fish Canyon and out to Split Mtn. Road in
Ocotillo Wells.
When: Saturday, Dec. 29 starting the trail about 9:00 a.m.
How: In your 4x4, NOT your mama's Cadillac! All vehicles
must be street legal as we will be in ABSP.
Who: Anybody who wants to go!
Bring: Pack a lunch and drinks for the day as well as all
spare parts,etc. that you usually take off roading.
Don't forget your camera!!!!

vehicle or passengers!....However, we love to
tow people out and take lots of pictures!
Trail info: The trail passes thru a narrow canyon with steep walls and one extremely steep descent. There is no bypass, so no stock or full size vehicles. This run is 30.5 miles long from S-2 to the pavement at Split Mtn. Rd.
Directions: From Scissors Crossing at Hwy. 78, head South 4.4 miles on S-2. When you reach the boundary to ABSP, look for a sign for Pinyon Canyon on the left near milepost 22.
You be the judge of your own driving skills and equipment.

We were also thinking about stopping for breakfast somewhere on the way there, and will post more details here.
This should be a very scenic and fun trip and we are really looking forward to it! Don't forget to load up your caches, we will be grabbing those also.
UPDATE: We all decided that we should have a BBQ after the run!!! It will be at Skillet's place which is right on the way home. We're keeping it simple, just hot dogs with all the fixins and maybe potato salad or beans(oh, wait...that's from the campout) so maybe some type of cookies or??? Ideas anyone? We can't send you home hungry!
