Geocache Description:


We would like to invite you to visit the Blanco Shoals Travel Bug Hotel, situated on the bank of the Blanco River in beautiful San Marcos, Texas.

Accommodations at the hotel include a 30mm ammo can with a nice waterproof bag, a perfect place for the weary travel bug or geocoin to rest on its journey.

Directions to the hotel (Map)
From the Austin - Take I-35 South to Exit 207 (River Ridge Parkway), turn left on River Ridge Parkway toward the Exchange Apartments.

From San Antonio - Take I-35 North to Exit 206 (Aquarena Springs Drive), continue north along the frontage road and turn right on River Ridge Pkwy.

Parking is available in the turn around at the end of the road, from here it is a short hike to the hotel. This is the Blanco Shoals Natural Area and in the interest of preservation we ask that you please follow the trail down toward the river and then follow the fence line toward the hotel.
